Most new miners use the 7Z007S control board because it is compatible with Antminer well. The Antminer S17, Antminer T17, and Antminer S19 series can all use this control board.

Troubleshooting 7Z007S Control Board
1. First, check to see if the power supply is malfunctioning when the entire control board cannot be turned on because of low or no voltage.
The voltages of the power modules are 3.3V, 1.8V, 1.5V, and 1.0V, respectively, as shown in the figure below. Check the corresponding components for damage if any abnormal voltage is present in this area (area 12).
3.3V is the front-end voltage. Remove U8 if the circuit is shorted before testing. If it is still shorted, it might be due to CPU damage, so the CPU needs to be taken out for another round of testing.
Replacement of the corresponding voltage conversion IC is advised if the other 1.8V, 1.5V, and 1.0V are abnormal.
Incorrect soldering or a damaged CPU can also result in a 3.3V short circuit or a situation where the control board won’t turn on. It is advised to reheat, fix, and test the CPU once it has cooled. It is advised to try replacing the CPU if the issue is still unsolvable.
Additionally, it is advised that you examine the CPU’s back circuit for any damage.
If the voltage is normal and the indicator light on the board is not on, please check whether the 25Hz crystal oscillator is in good condition. Only the DDR light will flash if the 25Hz crystal oscillator element is broken, even though the control board voltage is normally displayed. However, the device will still be unable to function and read the IP.
If the voltage is normal, the DDR indicator is normal, but the external indicator is always on red; you need to check the Flash or CPU.
Resoldering the Flash pins is advised. If the CPU is hot, you can test again after pressing it with some insulating paper.
2. Chain is dropped due to the lack of a complete hash board.
Prior to retesting, it is advised to replace the control board data cable. Please verify that the electronic components surrounding the control board’s data interface are in good condition if the fault is still not fixed.
3. The IP cannot be checked because the network indicator light is malfunctioning.
Please check to see if the network transformer (area 15) is not soldered correctly; if it is, it is advised to re-solder and test. Replacement of the components is advised if the problem continues.
The Ethernet transceiver (area 2) needs to be examined if the problem still exists after replacement.
4. With an SD card, the control board cannot be upgraded.
Please check the rear resistor and SD card slot; if they are damaged, it is advised to replace them immediately.
Tip:
The Antminer’s control board’s vulnerable components are those listed above. It is advised that you carefully check as a result. Keep your new control board safe from static electricity if you have one.
