When Should I Clean and Dust the Miners?
1. When you notice that the Bitmain Antminer S17 Series miners’ casing is getting dusty.
2. When it is discovered that the miners are not operating properly because of dust buildup or other debris attach on the hash board which affect the heat dissipation.
3. Once the miner has been inspected. Clean the dust regularly, we recommend doing it once a month
How to Clean and Dust?
Equipment: Air Compressor + Air Gun
Air Pressure range: 0.7 +/- 0.05 MPa
*IMPORTANT: The miners need to be stopped.
The steps that follow will clean and dust your Bitmain Antminer S17 Series.
- Use the air gun to gently blow the front and rear fans twice
2. To avoid damaging the fan or grille, place the air gun close to it. Blow into each gap for two to three seconds, then repeat the process two or three times.
If the high humidity prevents the air gun from blowing out the dust because the dust is stuck, you must take out the fan and brush out the stubborn dust.
